Edge lighting means placing LED modules along the sides of a box and directing the light across the face, instead of mounting them directly behind it. TMT offers one IP67-rated signage module designed for this, the Midi Edge, and two IP20 lightbox modules, Edge-lit 3 and Edge-lit 5. The figures below are TMT’s own statements for these products.
Midi Edge
TMT describes the Midi Edge for light box and sign box perimeter lighting up to 7 ft across, for cabinets from 3” deep, and for single- and double-sided cabinets and retrofits (Midi Edge datasheet). A note on page 2 of the same datasheet reads “4’’ Depth 7’ Across” (Midi Edge datasheet).

The “17,5 cm” figure in the global datasheet headline does not match the 7 ft in its own body text; it may be a conversion error, but TMT has not said so. TMT credits the narrow beam to its CrystaLens optics (Midi Edge datasheet).
Edge-lit 3 and Edge-lit 5
TMT’s LED Lightbox Modules category lists Edge-lit 3 as designed for edge-lit lightboxes and Edge-lit 5 for high-performance edge-lit lightboxes, both rated IP20 (tmtleds.com Lightbox Modules). These products appear on the global, USA-LLC and Asia sites but not on usa.tmtleds.com (tmtleds.com Edge-lit 3; usa.tmtleds.com LED Signage Modules). No datasheet with depth or span figures was located for either module.
Other edge-lighting names
A distributor lists “Edge Bar 18W” and “Rigid Bar 6W” in a TMT edge-lit category (Partners Ltd Edge Bar 18W; Partners Ltd Rigid Bar 6W). These names were not found on TMT’s own product pages and are treated as candidates in Legacy and candidate products.
