TMT Warranty Terms by Region and Series
TMT publishes warranty terms in several places: two warranty statement PDFs, a warranty page and a Labor Assistance page on usa.tmtleds.com, and short warranty lines on product pages and datasheets. They do not all agree. This page summarises what each source states; it is not legal advice and does not replace the documents themselves.

Sources: tmtleds.com warranty PDF; usa.tmtleds.com Warranty Statement; tmtledsusa.com warranty PDF. The tmtledsusa.com PDF does not list Mini 3 (tmtledsusa.com warranty PDF). Module labor is covered up to $500 per location, regardless of sign size or number of units (tmtleds.com warranty PDF).
Power supplies
| Power supply | Warranty as stated | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Silver Series 12 V 60 W, LDM060-12050-C21 | 5 years parts, 5 years labor | tmtleds.com warranty PDF |
| Gold Series 12 V (60, 150, 240 W) and 24 V (60, 150 W) | 7 years parts, 5 years labor | tmtleds.com warranty PDF |
| Class 2 LDM…P-12/24-C2x (usa.tmtleds.com) | 5 years (Tc 75 °C) in datasheets; not in any warranty statement | 12 V 120 W datasheet; 24 V 100 W datasheet |
| OMS-EP (tmtleds.com, tmtledsasia.com) | 3 years (5 years optional), product pages only | OMS-EP060-12V-L |
Power supply labor is $50 per unit, up to $250 per location (tmtleds.com warranty PDF). The warranty PDF is linked from the OMS-EP pages but does not list any OMS-EP model, and no terms for the optional 5-year OMS-EP warranty were found (tmtleds.com warranty PDF; OMS-EP060-12V-L). See TMT power supplies.
Conditions stated in the warranty statements
- The warranty applies only when TMT modules and TMT power supplies are installed as a system within the electrical values in the installation and datasheet documents (tmtleds.com warranty PDF).
- Exclusions: improper installation, unauthorised service or parts, acts of God, shipping damage, and misuse (tmtleds.com warranty PDF).
- Claims go to an authorised distributor or TMT LEDs HQ within 30 days of the claim occurring, with installation photos, photos of the failed product and invoices; labor warranty is available only through these channels (tmtleds.com warranty PDF).
- Third-party modules or power supplies reduce the warranty period by 50%; the statement’s example is a Mini 2 used with a third-party power supply, reduced to 5 years parts and 2.5 years labor, with no claim paid if the third-party supply causes the failure (tmtleds.com warranty PDF).
- The tmtledsusa.com PDF uses the same conditions with “TMT LEDs USA” wording (tmtledsusa.com warranty PDF).
The Labor Assistance page describes an extended labor warranty covering up to $250 per incident, starting from the installation date and not transferable from the original sign manufacturer without TMT’s written agreement (usa.tmtleds.com Labor Assistance).
Where sources differ
| Topic | Values found | Sources |
|---|---|---|
| Mini 2 | 5 years (global product page); 10 years parts (Gold/Platinum, warranty statements); “10 year product” and “5 year labor” badges (US datasheet); “up to 10 year” (US page) | tmtleds.com Mini 2; tmtleds.com warranty PDF; US Mini 2 datasheet; usa.tmtleds.com Mini 2 |
| Midi Edge, Midi 3 | “up to 5 year” (US pages); 7 years parts (warranty statements) | usa.tmtleds.com Midi Edge; usa.tmtleds.com Midi 3; tmtleds.com warranty PDF |
| Labor cap | $500 per location (modules), $250 per location (power supplies); $250 per incident (Labor Assistance) | tmtleds.com warranty PDF; usa.tmtleds.com Labor Assistance |
The Mini 2 difference may reflect the Silver version, which the warranty statements give 5 years, but TMT does not say so (tmtleds.com warranty PDF). Buyers should confirm the terms that apply to their product and region with TMT or an authorised distributor.
